This was our second stay at the Generator and we love location! The ease of check in is great too! We went for a king size bed private room…Liked the private room but it was noisy from a machine in the walls that would kick on and off constantly and the floor was uneven in a really noticeable way. I will stay again, but this specific room was just underwhelming as the quality of other private rooms had been quieter but we didn’t like the bunk beds that they offer. It won’t deter me from another stay but was worth a mention.

Overall, the stay was great. For me personally, there was no female bathroom on my wing of the hostel, so you would have to travel all the way to the other side of the hostel to use the bathroom. Additionally, the lockers were located beneath the lower bunk and has to be dragged out to be used, which wasn't the most convenient. Nevertheless, the stay was pleasant overall.

The location is perfect, quite near to railway stations. the room and the public space is clean. The amenities in the room are really limited.

Good and safe location, place was relatively clean but the shower cubicles are a bit small. Some of the toilet cubicles have lock that do not line up, so you cant lock the door.

Good location as it’s central and lots of shops nearby. Being a hostel in a busy area I wasn’t expecting a lot however the room was smelly. Shower area dirty and there was quite a bit of dust in the room.
