Stupid, cheap, money-grubbing nickel-and-diming hotel policies and rules. Horrible internet that I measured at 20 Kbps, less than 1% of what is available in the lobbies of most hotels to non-guests and at Nero or Starbucks. Staff indicated that the hotel is "encouraging the purchase of a £6 proper internet speed". The "hotel policy" of having 1 towel per room no matter how many occupants are paying. Another staff member commented that "by the time most guests realize the lack of towels, they just don't shower, saving the management both towel laundry and hot water". If you want to check in a few minutes early, an extra £15 charge. No front desk (the task is managed by waiters who are busy at the bar and restaurant). Premier encourages you to become a "member" with additional privileges. However, when making a reservation, your member number is not accepted, and at check-in, they cannot access your membership. Room temperature control does not work, and the water pressure is a joke.
